GAB Athletic Scholarship Golf Outing
This annual event is named for one of the founding members of the Grandville Athletic Boosters and a lifelong sports fan with a soft spot for our student athletes. Ned Howe supported our Dawgs in many ways over the years; he even raised several English bulldogs who became official Grandville mascots. Since Ned was such an avid golfer, we remember his contributions to our club with an annual golf outing to support Grandville student athletes. The Grandville Athletic Boosters club is dedicated to supporting all athletic programs, including club sports, at Grandville Middle School and Grandville High School. We strive to educate students, parents and our community on the merits of teamwork and life-long physical activity while increasing community interest and enthusiasm for Grandville sports programs.
The Grandville Athletic Boosters club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports all student athletes by raising funds to supplement the athletic department budget for purchase of equipment, transportation, facility rentals, uniforms and other team expenses. In addition, eight college scholarships are awarded by the Grandville Athletic Boosters each year.
Our club is comprised of parents of student athletes and other interested adults. New members are always welcome! Whether you can devote a little time here and there to help out at event concessions or the Dog Den Store, or if you would like to volunteer to help with one of our larger events or activities, there are plenty of options available.
