Free/Reduced Meals

Meals were free for all students in the 2021-22 school year and no application was required. However, that special federal program ended June 3, 2022. Parents and guardians must apply to receive free or reduced price meals for 2022-23.

Apply July 1 or Later for the 2022-23 Free & Reduced Program

Grandville Public Schools participates in the Free/Reduced Price program that is based on family income. Applications may be filled out at our Meal Magic Family Portal for the 2022-23 school year beginning July 1, 2022. Your information is kept confidential. A new application must be completed at the beginning of each school year. However, if your financial situation changes, you may fill out another one anytime during the school year. Reduced breakfast is 30 cents and reduced lunch is 40 cents.
Applications must be completed through the portal; paper applications are not issued. If you are unable to apply online, please contact Food Service for assistance.
  • Go to our Meal Magic Family Portal to fill out the Free & Reduced Application.
  • Register to create an account. You will be able to apply, make deposits and review activity in your child's account throughout the year.
  • Once you're signed in, select "Benefits" and follow the prompts.
