Grades 3-6 Registration Information

Registration is OPEN for Grandville Elementary robotics teams! Lego League and VEX IQ programs are available to qualified 3rd through 6th grade students in Grandville Public Schools. Parents who want to learn more about our fall programs and/or register their child must follow this link and complete the online interest form by Sept. 2: https://airtable.com/shrAVx4tOo5rM6nKu

A parent must also attend the half-hour, in-person organizational meeting for their school. They are encouraged to bring their elementary student along for this meeting.

Organizational meetings for each elementary school will be held in the big tents at the Grandville Robotics Center, 4900 Canal, on the following dates and times. There is COVID-19 related information that must be explained, so attendance at these organizational meetings is REQUIRED. If a parent does not attend their school's organizational meeting, their student may not participate on a Grandville robotics team this year.

Teams will have all their early fall practices and events under the big tents outside the Grandville Robotics Center. Parents will also need to complete and sign the robotics COVID-19 release form once their student is assigned to a team. Until things change, all participants and adults will be required to wear face masks while engaged with the program.

Our elementary robotics teams are coached by volunteer parent coaches. Please consider coaching your child’s team this year.

Middle School Registration Information

Registration is open for middle school robotics in Grandville! VEX EDR and RAD Drone robotics programs are available to qualified 7th and 8th grade students in Grandville Public Schools. Parents who want to learn more about our fall programs and/or register their child must complete the interest form prior to Sept. 2 at: https://airtable.com/shrLB5ugJYlPq28it

A parent must also attend the half-hour, in-person organizational meeting for Grandville Middle School. They are encouraged to bring their middle school student along for this meeting. Masks are required at this meeting, and you may want to bring a lawn chair.

The Grandville Middle School organizational meeting will be held in the big tents at the Grandville Robotics Center, 4900 Canal, at 8 pm on Wednesday, September 2. There is COVID-19 related information that must be explained, so attendance at this organizational meeting is REQUIRED. If a parent does not attend the Middle School organizational meeting, their student may not participate on a Grandville robotics team this year.
