Cancellation Guidelines

Parents may pick up students at any time during severe weather. (Please note that refunds are not offered for classes and events that are canceled because of severe weather.) When severe weather strikes, Community Ed follows this protocol:
Tornado Watch
All Community Ed classes and events will be canceled.

Tornado Warning
All Community Ed classes and events will be canceled until the warning is lifted. Activities and classes in progress when a warning is issued will be stopped, and instructors will direct all students to take cover.

If Community Ed classes must be canceled due to weather, notice will be provided at and at local news stations (FOX 17, WOOD, WZZM).  If the instructor must cancel or postpone class for a reason other than weather, students will be notified as soon as possible by Community Ed. Postponed classes will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
