Enroll in Early Childhood Special Education

 
The Early Childhood Special Education program meets the needs of children ages 3 to 5 years who have developmental delays. Eligibility is determined by evaluations conducted by an early childhood diagnostic team. Must be pre-approved to enroll in ECSE. Contact Student Services with any questions at (616) 254-6768.

This ECSE enrollment portal is for the upcoming school year that begins Aug. 23, 2021.
 

These instructions are for enrolling in ECSE for the August 2021 through June 2022 school year.

 

BEGIN ENROLLMENT

 

Proper documentation is required for enrollment. Please have these documents ready to upload:

  • certified birth certificate
  • most recent immunization record (see board policy and administrative guidelines)
  • two forms of proof of residency. A driver's license or cell phone bill cannot be used as proof. Acceptable proof includes two of the following:
    • a recent utility bill (gas, electric or water)
    • property tax bill
    • lease or mortgage
    • renters or homeowners insurance 
  • hearing and vision results from preschool or county
  • IEP/special education paperwork
  • medical information form
  • health appraisal form
